Rooms

Our clinic has three main consultation and therapy spaces for face to face sessions. The rooms are colour coordinated and numbered. We value consistency and routine so we do our best to ensure clinic sessions are facilitated in the same space.

Sensory Spaces

We have two different sensory spaces at our clinic. We have our calming Zen Den which is downstairs that provides a calming space for our clients and staff. We also have a sensory gym that is shared by all our clients as they require it. These spaces are not exclusively booked for sessions.

Parking

Our clinic has free parking that is wheelchair and pram accessible. The parking has no limitations for time. The parking is directly in front of the clinic and there is also parking nearby within walking distance.

All of our rooms change constantly to be individualised for our clients. These images are to help visualise the space but there is no guarantee they will look exactly like this.

Accessibility Info For Our Cockburn Clinic

Screenshot 2025-07-09 at 1.23.53 pm.png

🚪Front access: There are two outward-opening doors with level entry, making it accessible for both wheelchairs and prams. The front entrance is locked from the outside but can be opened from within. Please ring the doorbell and someone will open up the doors. Please be patient for someone to let you in. Our front doors and windows are tinted so you can see out of them but not into our clinic.

🚽 Toilets: Our toilets are gender inclusive and disability accessible, with wide doorways (88cm wide) and railings for extra safety. The light switch turns on both the lights and the exhaust fan. There are two sensor lights, but they might turn off if someone is inside for a while and not moving.

🔊 Noise: We are in the process of making the clinic more sound proof. It is usually quiet with no music on in the back ground. The clinic is most quiet during the school day. However, there can be noise that echos through, particularly from the Sensory Gym when we are having a lot of fun! You are welcome to wear headphones and earbuds as you need to. If there are any specific sounds you must avoid, please let us know and we will ensure this is accommodated for you.

💡Lighting: Our clinic has fluorescent lighting. In most rooms, we have alternative lighting including lamps. If you would like the lights off in the room, please let us know! The Blue Room is also filled with natural lighting if that is preferred. You are welcome to wear sunglasses if this is also helpful to you.

⚠️Trip Hazards: In most rooms, we have soft squishy sensory mats, which may pose as a trip hazard. We can always remove these mats or change rooms to make you feel safer. We also have cords from our furniture, technology and resources that may be a trip hazard. If you are more prone to falls, please let us know prior to your first session at this clinic. We can then do our best to reduce any risks to ensure your safety and regulation.

🤯 Overwhelmed: You can use the Zen Den whilst you are in the clinic, whether it is before, during or after sessions. Our Zen Den has options of variety of lightings, soft objects and calming activities. This also includes an interactive VR headset.

🛝Safety Hazards: We have a fun sensory gym in our clinic, which allows for lots of movement and regulation. However, this can potentially come with some risks. It is important that there is always supervision whilst using the sensory gym by an adult or a member of our staff. Make sure you sign our waiver before having lots of fun in this space.

🐶Animals: Neuroinclusion is pet friendly, and we occasionally have office dogs roaming around. Let us know if you are allergic or do not want them around. You can bring in pets, however please give us a heads up in advance!
