These cards are neurodiversity-affirming as they do not include neuronormative expectations. These include milestones, aim for independence or to engage in all activities. These cards are visual and tactile resources for all neurodiversity to utilise regardless of age, identity and literacy level. These cards can be used in a variety of ways to facilitate goal setting without emphasising only challenges, impairments and deficits like traditional goal setting. Having the neurodivergent person sort the cards into a pile of things they want support with and others they feel happy with, enables an empowering and holistic approach. Ordering these cards can also be beneficial for prioritisation.
